Two Indians arrested with gold

A team from Kanchanpur Customs Office arrested two Indian nationals with approximately half kg gold bar from western border point Wednesday. The arrestees have been identified as Jitendra Saini and Suresh Kumar of Haryana in India. The gold bought from Kathmandu was being smuggled on an Indian number plate jeep (HR 12 H 0006) into India, according preliminary police investigations. Further investigations were on, said a Customs official.
