A track road has been opened to connect Beni, the district headquarters of Myagdi – to Dhorpatan area.
The 18-km track road connects Darwang to Dhorpatan via Muna-Bhim-Takam route. The Road Division Office, Baglung has also started black topping the 24-km Beni-Darwang road which it opened a decade ago.
The District Coordination Committee constructed the Darwang-Bhim-Takam-Muna track under the Agriculture Road Project.
Project's technician Krishna Raya said construction of the track road which was launched in 2010 from Darwang has reached Muna via Bhim and Takam route.
He added that after further extension of seven kilometers, the road will reach Dhorpatan's border via Lulang area. The authorities have spent Rs 47.5 million in a period of eight years for construction of the track road.
