Police has arrested a woman who fed feces to her neighbor after an internal dispute.
Bhabisara Thapa Magar of Barahatal rural municipality-5, Surkhet was held after she fed feces to Bhakta Bahadur Salami of the same rural municipality inside the premises of the local Baddichaur Police Station in course of reaching a compromise.
Magar had filed a complaint against Salami at the police station saying Salami had defamed her under the influence of alcohol. The police called both Salami and Magar to the police station for a discussion in the presence of the rural municipality Ward Chairman Dil Masangi.
After the discussion, Magar said she would make a compromise with Salami by putting red vermilion mark on Salami's forehead but instead fed feces she had brought in a polythene bag surreptitiously, said Superintendent of Police Umakanta Chaturvedi, the Chief of the District Police Office, Surkhet.
Now it was Salami's turn to file a complaint against Magar and she was arrested on the basis of this complaint, Chaturvedi said, adding that further investigation were on in this regard.
