Idol of Buddha unveiled

Minister for Defense Ishwor Pokharel has Monday unveiled the idol of Buddha at Pasikot in Budhanilkantha on the occasion of Buddha Jayanti. On the occasion, Pokharel said, "You have presented an example that development activities could be forwarded making people organised by constructing the idol of Buddha." He said that no one has to wait direction of the government to carry out good activities and such works should get continuity. Saying the government has focused its attention in economic development, prosperity and good governance, the Defense Minister said that development activities and planning would be determined as per the provisions of the Constitution.
