A family reeling under financial constraints is struggling to seek treatment for a member suffering from blood cancer.
14-year-old Arjun Gautam of Arthardandakharka of Kushma municipality – 14 of Parbat district has been suffering from blood cancer for the past four months. His father is a manual worker and has been feeding the family from the little money he earns on a daily basis. The family has now appealed for financial help as it faces a colossal task of overseeing the treatment expense of the boy.
The boy is currently being treated at the BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital in Bharatpur. The doctors attending the boy have said it would cost around two million rupees to treat the boy.
Arjun's father, Sukraj Gautam, says he does not have money to treat the boy and if he cannot seek treatment his boy would die. "It would be a lot easier if we could get help from somewhere," he shared.
The villagers have opened an account at the Global IME Bank located in the district headquarters to collect donations for the boy. The family has appealed to anyone wishing to donate money to deposit the donated amount in savings account with no 6607010002415.
