One arrested with 2 kg hashish from Kanchanpur

Police on Thursday evening arrested a man in possession of two kg hashish from Kaluwapur area of Shuklaphanta municipality – 11 in Kanchanpur. A joint team from Regional Investigation Bureau and Area Police Office in Jhalari arrested 21-year-old Jaya Japrel during a search at Pillariphant of Shuklaphanta municipality – 8. The police waylaid a bike (Se 2 Pa 8016) heading east and arrested Japrel with the hashish hidden inside a bag, said Inspector Mohan Saud of Area Police Office, Jhalari. Japrel is currently under detention at the Area Police Office and will face a case for transporting contraband drug.
