TU closes to mourn former registrar's passing

All the affiliate campuses and offices under the Tribhuvan University (TU) will remain close Thursday. TU Registrar Dilliram Upreti said the varsity is closing down its offices and affiliate campuses for the day to mourn the death of its former registrar Nilkanthalal Shrestha. The regular examinations are, however, continuing although the classes are closed. Former registrar Shrestha passed away on April 13. He worked as TU's registrar from March 2, 1999 to March 1, 2003.
