The left alliance has taken the lead in the vote count of the Kathmandu constituency no. 2 and 4.
Similarly, the Nepali Congress (NC) has been leading the vote count towards the House of Representatives election in the Kathmandu constituency no. 1.
The preliminary vote count results of Kathmandu-1 show that so far NC candidate has obtained 940 votes while Rabindra Mishra of Bibeksheel Sajha is lagging behind him with 675 votes and CPN (Maoist Center)'s candidate Anil Sharma is in the third position with 268 votes to his favour, according to assistant election officer for the constituency, Krishna Nepal.
Likewise, in the Kathmandu-2, CPN-UML candidate Madhav Kumar Nepal has received 1023 votes and NC candidate Deepak Kuinkel (469) and Bibeksheel Sajha's Dr Surya Raj Acharya (424) are following him.
Similarly, in Kathmandu-4, until the filing of this report, a total of 2,430 votes have been counted in the constituency and of them, CPN-UML candidate Rajan Bhattarai have secured 1,239 votes while 1,041 votes are in favor of NC candidate Gagan Thapa and Bibeksheel Sajha's Subuna Basnet has got 43 votes, according to assistant election officer for Kathmandu-4, Dambar Prasad Kafle.
The vote count for Kathmandu 1, 2, 3 and 4 is taking place in the National City Hall and the preliminary vote count results of Kathmandu-3 are awaited.
