IED deactivated in Hetauda

An improvised explosive device (IED) found Wednesday on the road connecting Raigai and the Kamane-based Industrial corridor in Heatuada Sub metropolis-8 was deactivated by a bomb disposal squad from the Nepal Army. According to the District Police Office, Makwanpur the string or commonly as sutli bomb planted by an unidentified group was defused by the NA team from the Bhainse-based Suparetar Barrack. No untoward incident has so far been reported in 324 polling centers set up in the district for the tomorrow's election to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies, as stated by Superintendent of Police Bikash Raj Khanal.
