The Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday issued a notice to urge all not to use their vehicles except the essential ones including ambulance, fire brigades, vehicles carrying drinking water and milk, and hearse, among others, from Wednesday midnight for the second phase of election on Thursday.
The Home Ministry has imposed the restriction on the use of vehicles from Wednesday midnight to Thursday 7 pm aiming to beef up security in the 45 districts where the election to House of Representatives and State Assemblies are being conducted.
It has appealed all the voters to reach their respective destinations by Wednesday midnight. Vehicles will be allowed to ply the roads after completion of polling on Thursday.
The voting under second round of provincial and federal election will begin at 7 am and will conclude at 5 pm.
