Minister Basnet urges voters to make NC victorious in elections

Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Cooperatives Ambika Basnet has spoken of the need of majority of Nepali Congress in the elections to the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections. "NC's majority is essential to safeguard democracy and bring prosperity to the country." Minister Basnet, who is the House of Representatives election candidate from the Kathmandu Constituency-3 from the NC ticket, accused the communist parties of Nepal of forging the left alliance with an intention of imposing dictatorship in the nation. She was speaking at an election assembly organized by the party here Friday. On the occasion, she called on voters to ensure a landslide victory for the party in the elections to see a strengthened democracy.
