The Nepali Congress Dolpa District Executive Committee has demanded re-election in four polling centers of Dolpa, reasoning that rigging took place in the center.
Organising a press conference here Thursday, the Congress has said that the voting in Charkatangsong, Dolpo Budda, She Phuksondo and Tallo Dolpa and Tripura Sundari were rigged with booth capturing, threatening opposition party cadres and forcing people to vote in their favor by the left alliance cadres in the November 26 elections.
Accordingly, it has communicated to the Office of Chief Returning Officer, Election Commission and Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, according to NC district chair Angat Kumar Budha.
