All parties inspired to strengthen democracy from election: Leader Khand

Nepali Congress leader and Coordinator of Central Election Mobilization Committee Bal Krishna Khand has said that all parties including the NC have become inspired from the first round of elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies that held on Sunday. A press release issued Monday by Khand stated that the first round of elections concluded enthusiastically in 32 districts under the leadership of Prime Minister and NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba as per the constitution. He also thanked all voters, Election Commission, civil servants, security bodies, political parties, media persons, national and international observers for their support during the election. Khand urged all for their enthusiastic participation in the second round of elections scheduled for December 7 as election is very important for sustainable peace, economic prosperity and development in the country.
