CPN-UML leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal Monday stressed the need for economic revolution.
"Revolution for a political change has been completed. Now there is a need to institutionalize federal democracy achieved through many political upheavals, and carry out economic development activities," he said while addressing an election campaign organized in Shankarapur municipality by the left alliance.
Saying the alliance has a vision of managing and rightly utilizing country's manpower and natural resources, he pledged to make the country wealthy once the coalition gets an opportunity to run the government for the next five years by making it victorious in the polls.
Likewise, CPN (Maoist Center) politburo member Prakash Gautam viewed that the country could pursue prosperity through industrial revolution while stressing the need for carrying out economic activities to turn the developing country into developed one.
