Former prime minister and Convenor of Naya Shakti Nepal Baburam Bhattarai has cast vote on Sunday queuing up like the commoners.
Senior leaders and powerful officials in Nepal don't queue up for their turn to vote and go directly to vote but Bhattarai waited in the queue before casting his vote at the polling center in Annapurna Secondary School, Khoplang of Palungtar-1 in Gorkha-2.
Bhattarai is contesting the federal parliamentary election from Gorkha-2 with support of Nepali Congress (NC) and RPP. The left alliance of CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center) has fielded Narayan Kaji Shrestha, who was vice chairman like Bhattarai when the latter was with the Maoist party, in the constituency.
