CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman and former prime minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has reached Kathmandu abandoning all the election programs after death of his only son Prakash Sunday morning.
He went to his residence in Lazimpat, where Prakash had passed out, after landing in Kathmandu and will reach Norvic International Hospital with his family from there.
Pushpa Kamal Dahal has arrived in Kathmandu from Jhapa, where he was for election campaign, along with daughter Ganga, son-in-law Jivan Acharya and granddaughter.
Prakash, who had passed out at the Dahal residence in Lazimpat, was declared dead on arrival by the doctors at Norvic where he was admitted at 5:30 Sunday morning.
