Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the left alliance was forged against democracy.
Speaking in an election program organized in the district headquarters in Darchula on Friday, PM Deuba has shared that there was rising terror due to the left alliance. He added that people were living in peace but left alliance was exercising to obstruct it.
He argued that communist forces were trying to trouble people and impose totalitarianism in the country by forging alliance.
On another note, PM Deuba also shared NC role in national politics since abolishing Rana regime to monarchy to establish democracy in the country.
He further committed to expediting the developmental activities in the district.
Prime Minister Deuba also vowed to complete the construction of 290-km long Mahakali corridor linking Bramhadev of Kanchanpur to Tinkar of Darchula within two years and to construct motorable bridges at the district headquarters linking border with India and Jauljibi.
Similarly, NC central committee member Dilendra Prasad Badu argued that the NC's victory has already been guaranteed in the upcoming elections in the district as the NC had won the elections in five local levels out of nine.
NC Candidate for the House of Representatives Bikram Singh Dhami and candidate of State Assembly 'A' Madan Giri expressed pledged to complete the construction of Mahakali corridor.
