Four cadres of Communist Party of Nepal-led by Netra Bikram Chand have been arrested by police in Kailali on the charge of indulging in anti-election activities.
According to the District Police Office, Kailali, party district in-charge Ram Prasad Chaudhary, regional bureau member Prakash Malla and Minraj Giri and Tapendra Rasaili were arrested Thursday for their anti-election acts.
Two were nabbed from Tikapur while two were taken under control from Hasuliya.
It may be noted that Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, during his address to a regional seminar on election security just two days ago instructed for strengthened security arrangements in the district following the rise in the violent activities including bomb explosion targeting election candidates.
