4 NC cadres injured in bomb attack targeting Mahat's campaign team

Four Nepali Congress (NC) cadres have been injured in a bomb attack targeting the campaign team of NC leader Ram Sharan Mahat in Nuwakot on Friday. NC cadres Upendra Mishra, Sabin Lama, Yash Kumar Tamang and Leela Gharti Magar have been injured in the bomb attack on the campaign team at Dandagaun of Kakani rural municipality, according to DSP of the Armed Police Force (APF) Basudev Lohani. An APF team has been mobilized toward the site immediately after the incident. The police have yet to know who carried out the attack nor has anyone claimed responsibility. The police said they are looking for those involved in the attack. Former minister Mahat is contesting for the federal parliament from Nuwakot-1.
