9,816 additional voters in Dhankuta

Dhankuta district has additional 9,816 voters for the House of Representatives and State Assemblies elections slated for November 26 and December 7, said the District Election Office. Ten more polling centers have been added totaling 117, while 153 polling stations have been set up. There are a total of 505,188 voters in the district. A tight security will be maintained during the elections. Likewise, any election campaign that violates election code of conduct is barred, said information officer at the election office Keshab Poudel. Any materials and clothing like T-shirt, and caps showing the name of election candidates are prohibited.
