Vehicle of Minister Lamsal’s adviser hits lawmaker inside Singha Durbar

A vehicle belonging to Anukul Nidhi, transport expert and adviser to Infrastructure Development Minister Sunil Lamsal, hit a lawmaker inside Singha Durbar.

National Assembly member Rajendra Laxmi Gaire said that she was knocked down after being struck by the minister's adviser's vehicle in front of the Ministry of Infrastructure Development.

She also informed National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal about the incident, saying the vehicle hit her on Friday while she was crossing the road at a zebra crossing in front of the ministry.

"I was crossing the road at the zebra crossing in front of the ministry, and I had even signaled with my hand," she said. "Even so, the vehicle hit me, and I fell to the ground."

Gaire said that although she did not sustain any visible external injuries, she was experiencing bodily pain.

Gaire, who is from Palpa, is a lawmaker from the Nepali Communist Party.
