UML calls standing committee meeting

The CPN-UML has called a meeting of its standing committee.

The meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, according to Niraj Acharya, chief of the UML publicity department.

The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at the party’s central office in Chyasal.

This will be the first meeting of the standing committee since its formation.

The meeting will discuss the implementation of decisions taken by the central committee at its meeting held from September 21 to 24.
