The Nepali Communist Party (NCP) has submitted its manifesto for the House of Representatives election to the Election Commission.
The party presented the manifesto to Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
The commission has mandated that political parties participating in the election must compulsorily submit their manifesto or commitment letter by February 15 (Sunday) according to the House of Representatives Member Election Act.
In line with this provision, the commission had earlier corresponded with all political parties, directing them to submit the required documents within the stipulated deadline.
The NCP had officially unveiled its manifesto on February 10.
