National Assembly session prorogued

The current session of the National Assembly has been prorogued.

On Thursday, President Ram Chandra Paudel prorogued the National Assembly session on the Cabinet’s recommendation.

A Cabinet meeting held on Monday, February 9, had recommended to the president to end the Upper House session.

According to Ritesh Kumar Shakya, spokesperson for the Office of the President, the current session of the National Assembly will officially end effective from midnight on Friday, February 13.
