Thai Prime Minister arrives in Kathmandu for BIMSTEC Summit

Prime Minister of Thailand Prayut Chan-o-cha has arrived here to attend the Fourth Summit of Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC). He arrived Thursday morning. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Ishwor Pokharel received him at Tribhuvan International Airport. A contingent of Nepal Army had presented a guard of honor to the Thai dignitary. Chief of Protocol Deepak Adhikari, Thailan'd ambassador to Nepal Bhakavat Tanskul and Nepal's ambassador to Thailand Khaganath Adhikari also welcomed the Thai Prime Minister.
