Bibeksheel Sajha expresses worry over Kanchanpur incident

The Bibeksheel Sajha Party has expressed its concern over the rising incidents of sexual harassment, rape and murder after rape. Issuing a press statement Friday, the party spokesperson Ramesh Poudel has also demanded stern action against the culprits involved in such heinous crimes and inhuman acts. The party has demanded a stern action against those involved in the rape and subsequent murder of 13-year-old Nirmala Panta of Bhimdutta municipality, Kanchanpur district. The locals have intensified street-based protests since and local administration had enforced curfew in riot-prone areas Thursday. The party has also urged all including party leaders, cadres and well-wishers to launch awareness raising programs against such crimes in their respective surroundings and localities.
