Election of parliamentary committee presidents postponed

The election of the parliamentary committee presidents scheduled for August 21 has been postponed for 12 days. The election will take place on September 2. Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara in the House of Representatives meeting Friday informed that the election date was postponed due to special reason. There are 10 thematic committees in the House of Representatives, the lower house. Earlier, Minister for Finance Dr Yubraj Khatiwada tabled the Payment and Clearance Bill 2075 BS in the meeting today. The next meeting of the HoR will take place on August 20.
