The main opposition Nepali Congress on Thursday boycotted the meeting of House of Representatives.
The NC boycotted the meeting after the Speaker did not provide the time to the party which it had demanded in order to raise the queries to the Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa.
The NC lawmakers stood from their respective places as in a gesture of protest in the meeting and exited from the meeting hall after the Speaker started the House business.
Meanwhile, the Minister for Home Affairs Thapa presented the BIMSTEC Convention on Cooperation in Combating International Terrorism, Transnational Organised Crime And Illicit Drug Trafficking. The next meeting is scheduled for Friday.
