National Assembly passes condolence motion on Joshi's demise

The meeting of the National Assembly on Wednesday has passed a condolence motion on the demise of former Member of Parliament and former central committee member of the Nepali Congress, Krishna Kumar Joshi. National Assembly Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina tabled the condolence motion in the meeting. Wishing for eternal peace for the departed soul, the meeting observed a minute's silence. A resident of Melauli municipality, Baitadi, Joshi, breathed his last in Kathmandu on Tuesday night. He was 73. Joshi was the founder President of NC Baitadi in 2034 BS. He was the central committee member of the NC in 2044 and was elected the member of House of Representatives from Baitadi Constituency-1 in 2048 BS. The National Assembly will meet next at 11:30 am on August 2.
