The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has directed all local levels to submit details about existing organizational chart to the center within the next 15 days.
The direction aims to adjust employees at local level in line with internal organizational structure and employees' quotas there as passed by the Council of Ministries, said the Ministry's Spokesperson Suresh Adhikari. The Council of Ministries has approved around 57,000 quotas for local levels under the interim management.
The direction requires local levels to state all details of the number of sitting employees, ways to adjust them under the new federal setup, and specify positions and levels of employees to be approved for the local levels. Local levels need approximately 8,000 new employees at present to keep up with the federal setup, it is said.
