Term of NA Chairman, Vice Chairman determined

The term of National Assembly chairman and vice chairman has been determined through a draw. As per the lucky draw conducted at the Federal Parliament at New Baneshwor Monday, the term of NA chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsina was determined for six years. Similarly, vice chairman Shashikala Dahal would serve for four years. Likewise, the term of NA member Komal Oli has been determined for four years. As per the constitutional provision, among the total 59 NA members, one-third of the members will have tenure of two years, another one-third will have a four-year term and the rest will serve for full term of six years.
