Minister Yadav urges Qatar to invest in industrial sector

Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Matrika Yadav has urged Qatar to invest in the industrial sector including in re-establishment of sick industries. During a courtesy call with Ambassador of Qatar to Nepal, Yusuf bin Mohamed al-Hail Wednesday, Yadav expressed concern over the security and rights of 400,000 Nepalis working in Qatar. On the occasion, Ambassador al-Hail suggested moving ahead by signing agreement of bilateral investment as investors of Qatar have wanted to invest in Nepal. The ambassador urged Yadav to provide necessary support including land to investors from Qatar as Qatar has been providing various facilities including land and visa to foreign investors.
