Indian PM Modi lands in Kathmandu

Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi, who offered special worship at the Janaki temple in Janakpur Friday morning, has landed in Kathmandu on an Air India plane in the afternoon. "All three security forces--Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and National Investigation Department--have been mobilized to their full strength for the security purposes," Home Ministry's Spokesperson Ram Krishna Subedi said. Modi will take the shortest route as far as possible during his movements inside Kathmandu. The route will be cleared off only around 10 minutes before his visit. However, emergency vehicles and ambulances will be allowed to ply at any time.
