Over 35 cadres of the CPN led by Netra Bikram Chand have been arrested from Kathmandu to stop probable protest during the visit of Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi.
The cadres have been taken under control from different places inside Kathmandu Valley.
Chief of Kathmandu Police SSP Bishwo Raj Pokharel revealed that security arrangements have been beefed up for the visit.
Police personnel have been mobilized along the way through which Modi will travel, the hotel where he will stay and the places he will visit. Security persons have been mobilized in plain clothes as well while sniffer dogs have also been mobilized at different places in Kathmandu
