GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology will award honorary doctorate degree to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli during his visit of Uttarakhand on Sunday.
Oli will fly in a special plane of Air India to receive the degree from the university in Pantnagar. PM Oli and Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Saturday had agreed for use of Indian technology for commercialization of agriculture in Nepal.
Governor of Uttarakhand Krishan Kant Paul will host a lunch in honor of Oli Sunday. Oli will return to New Delhi after the lunch.
He is scheduled to return to Kathmandu in the evening.
