Justice Rana, next in line for CJ, boycotts all benches with CJ Parajuli

Justice Cholendra Shumsher JBR has boycotted the bench of the Supreme Court Chief Justice Gopal Parajuli stating that CJ Parajuli should have retired from the post last July as per his present age. Justice Rana, who is in line to succeed Parajuli as CJ, said that he has boycotted all the benches of CJ Parajuli from Monday itself after finding that study of Parajuli's documents showed three different dates of birth. "CJ's birth dates and academic qualifications are disputable issues for now. He should have retired last July as per his age. So I am not going to stay in any benches with him," Cholendra said before beginning the bench on Monday morning.
