Nationwide circular to arrest Netra Bikram Chand

Police have released a nationwide circular to arrest the General Secretary of Communist Party of Nepal Netra Bikram Chand. Attempted murder case was filed against him and 18 others for being involved in the explosion in Bhojpur during the elections to House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly. Bhojpur District Court has issued an arrest warrant against Chand and his other cadres. Chief at Bhojpur Police Office DSP Deependra Panjiyar said that a circular has been released nationwide to arrest Chand as per the court's order. "An attempted murder case was filed against him. A letter has been sent to make Chand produce before the court. We are searching Chand on that basis. We have also sent an arrest warrant to his home district Kapilvastu," he said. Earlier, Uddav Basnet, a fugitive on the same case, was arrested by the police on Sunday.
