Minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare Thammaya Thapa has opined for ensuring 33 percent women's participation in the Cabinet.
Speaking in a program organized by the Reporters' Club here Thursday in the capital, Thapa added that it was essential as per the constitutional provision as well. She further stressed on empowering the local level for the holistic development in local areas.
Similarly, CPN-UML leader Mahesh Basnet said that the Cabinet could be expanded soon.
Nepali Congress leader Ram Krishna Yadav said that the NC will be responsible opposition respecting public mandate.
CPN (Maoist Center) leader Aman Lal Modi shared that the left alliance was forged for prosperity, development and stability in the country.
