Maoist Center busy in internal talks to conclude unification process

The CPN (Maoist Center) has said it is holding internal discussions to conclude the party unification with the CPN-UML. As part of the unification, Maoist Center Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal held an informal talk with party senior leaders at his residence in Khumaltar. Likewise, a meeting of the party coordination committee formed to facilitate the merger is taking place Monday. Dahal apprised the meeting of the progress in talks between himself and Prime Minister and UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli regarding the party unification, said the participants. On the party merger, talking to media persons, Maoist Center leader Janardan Sharma said discussions were underway to conclude the unity process. On Sunday, PM Oli and Maoist Center Chairperson Dahal held around five-hour talks regarding the unification.
