Gorkha will be made a model district in development: Bhattarai

Convener of Naya Shakti Party Dr Baburam Bhattarai has said that Gorkha would be made a model district by developing physical infrastructures. Speaking at a program organized by Manab Sewa Ashram here Friday, Bhattarai expressed commitment that newly elected people's representatives would move ahead by agreeing to a common agenda for Gorkha's development. Also the former Prime Minister, Bhattarai pledged financial support of Rs 2000 every month during his term as a member of House of Representatives. The Ashram has been providing education along with lodging facility to 18 people with disabilities, orphan and helpless children. Similarly, provincial assembly member and Naya Shakti Party leader Hari Sharan Acharya, also announced to provide Rs 1,000 monthly to the Ashram. Patron of the Ashram Dr Govinda Tondon said that a campaign to make Nepal as center of humanity was underway.
