Nepali Congress (NC) has finalized four candidates each for provinces 4, 6 and 7 for the upcoming National Assembly election scheduled for February 7.
The meeting of top leaders of NC continues at Prime Minister (PM) Sher Bahadur Deuab's official residence in Baluwatar to finalize candidates in other provinces.
Bishnu Bahadur Shahi of Kalikot (open), Surya Devi Malla of Jumla (woman), Sita Ram BK of Salyan (dalit) and Gopal Prasad Sharma (people with disabilities/minority) have been finalized from Province 6, according to Bal Krishna Khand who is present in the meeting.
The party had finalized candidates for provinces 7 and 4 before that.
Surendra Raj Pandey (open) of Gorkha, Brinda Rana Magar (women), Jeet Bahadur Nepali (dalit) and Prakash Pant (people with disabilities/minority) have been finalized from Province 4. Likewise, Badri Pandey (open), Tara Bhatta (woman), Sheri Ram Parki (dalit) and Chhatra Raj Joshi (disabled) have been finalized from Province 7.
