CPN (Maoist Revolutionary) leader CP Gajurel has said Nepal is still going through a complicated political transition even in the aftermath of elections of all three levels local, provincial assembly and federal parliament.
Speaking at a press meet organized by the Federation of Revolutionary Journalists here Tuesday, he accused the incumbent caretaker government of performing as a majority government.
His claim was that some Communist parties in Nepal were taking goals and objectives of the Communist movement toward the rightist course in the name of left alliance. The aim of the Maoist revolution was to bring People's Republic not only republic.
He went on to say, "Ideologically, the Nepali Congress has not been able to move ahead of the 2015 BS and the CPN-UML and the CPN (Maoist Center) are taking the Communist movement toward a rightist path in name of the left alliance, that's why struggle is still necessary in the country." He claimed that his party would take the lead of the Nepali Communist movement, taking the country toward a real socialism.
