The provincial chiefs have administered the oath of office and secrecy to the provincial assembly member of Province 2 and Province 5.
A total of 107 PA members of Province 2 took oath of office and secrecy in three different languages.
"I took oath of office and secrecy in Maithali. Other friends took their oath in other languages," provincial assembly member Federal Socialist Forum Nepal from Mahottari Saroj Kumar Singh said.
"Other members used Nepali, Maithali and Bhojpuri while being administered oath of office and secrecy," added CDO of Dhanusha Dilip Kumar Yadav.
Meanwhile, the oldest member Janak Lal Shrestha administered the oath of office and secrecy to provincial assembly members of Province 4 at Urban Development Training Center in Pokhara. Earlier, Provincial Chief Baburam Kunwar administered oath of office and secrecy to Shrestha.
"All of the 60 provincial assembly members took oath of office and secrecy in Nepali," CDO of Kaski Taranath Dahal informed.
Meanwhile, provincial chief of Province 3 Anuradha Koirala first administered oath of office and secrecy to the oldest member Dor Mani Paudel at Regional Administration Office after which Paudel administered oath of office and secrecy to a total of 110 members.
Province Chief of Province 5 Umakanta Jha administered oath of office to the oldest member Bal Dev Sharma and Sharma administered oath of office to a total of 87 provincial assembly members at a hall of Butwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The swearing-in ceremonies are being held in other provinces as well. The 550 provincial assembly members across the seven provinces will all be sworn in on Sunday in Biratnagar, Janakpur, Hetauda, Pokhara, Butwal, Surkhet and Dhangadi respectively.
