NC calls its central working committee meeting on Thursday

A central working committee meeting of the Nepali Congress has been called on January 18. Chief Secretary of the NC Party Office Krishna Prasad Poudel said that the meeting would take place at the official residence of the Prime Minister at 11 am on January 18 and discussion would be held on contemporary issues. The NC’s central working committee meeting has been called for the first time after recently held elections to the House of Representatives and Provincial Assemblies. Party Spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma said that discussion would be held on various issues including party’s preparation for National Assembly election, selection of candidate and party’s defeat in recently held elections. Party’s central working committee and Mahasamiti meetings were demanded after the party failed to get expected result in the elections.
