CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli, who is in Bangkok, Thailand for health checkup, will return back to Kathmandu only on Thursday. Oli's secretariat earlier had said he will return Tuesday.
"There was only one-way ticket at the time of going and when he will return was not certain then," press coordinator of Oli Chetan Adhikari said. "All tests and examinations have been done now. He will now return on Thursday after taking rest for a couple of days," he added.
The doctors who had accompanied Oli to Bangkok have already returned back. Oli's secretariat had said he will return on Monday before he flew to Bangkok on January 10.
Oli, who has had kidney transplant, has been going to Bangkok for regular health checkups in recent years. He had last gone to Bangkok in August 2017.
