Dr Govinda KC has told the Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday that he has opposed the corrupt practice of justices and not any justice or judiciary.
Recording his statement in the SC after two in the afternoon, he has argued that Chief Justice (CJ) Gopal Parajuli, and not he, has disrespected the court.
"Others cannot keep two certificates but Chief Justice has two. He has been in this job tampering his age. That is a crime," advocate Surendra Bhandari told Setopati quoting Dr KC's statement. "He does not qualify to become a justice. I request for probe against him."
Dr KC, in his statement, has said that CJ Parajuli has abused his position. Dr KC demanded that Parajuli must be punished pointing that Parajuli promoted Nahakul Subedi, his relative, thrice in a year.
Advocates have started arguing against Dr KC after completion of recording his statement.
Former attorney general Raman Shrestha, Upendra Keshari Neupane, Shyam Kharel, Laxman Thapaliya and Deepak Bista will argue against Dr KC.
Ninety-two-year-old senior advocate Krishna Prasad BhandarOm Prakash Aryal, Baburam Giri, Dinesh Tripathi, Surendra Bhandari and others will also plead on behalf of Dr KC.
Dr KC, who started his 14th fast-unto-death for dismissal of Chief Justice Parajuli on Monday, was arrested by the police Monday evening after the SC ordered his arrest for contempt of court.
