CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has not gone to the all-party meeting called by Prime Minister (PM) Sher Bahadur Deuba at the latter's residence in Baluwatar Thursday morning.
PM Deuba has called the meeting of top leaders of five national parties to appoint provincial heads in consensus with the parties. But Oli, who has been resting at Balkot for the past few days after suffering from diarrhea did not go to the meeting. Former speaker Subas Nembang, UML Vice Chairman Bhim Rawal, Bishnu Paudel and Agni Kharel are representing the party in the meeting.
Oli has not given the meeting a miss due to his health condition. "He has not missed the meeting due to health reasons. He is well now. He is busy in other political meetings," Oli's press coordinator Chetan Adhikari told Setopati.
CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, and leaders Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Ram Bahadur Dahal are representing the party in the meeting that has just started. PM Deuba, and leaders Ram Chandra Paudel and Krishna Sitaula are representing Nepali Congress (NC).
Member of the chairman council of Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJP) Mahantha Thakur, Anil Jha, Mahindra Raya Yadav and Raj Kishor Yadav are representing the party. Similarly, Rajendra Shrestha and others are representing Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN) in the meeting.
