CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has accused the current government of trying to extend its reign on 'instruction of domestic and foreign powers'.
Issuing a welcome message to the people on the occasion of New Year 2018, Oli has accused the current government, that has already lost the mandate of people, of making efforts to extend its reign and consign the country to the scourge of indecision despite the left alliance getting a clear majority in the election.
"We cannot tolerate the efforts being made against the people's mandate on instruction of domestic and foreign powers to prevent development of the country," Oli's welcome message reads.
Pointing that political transition ended in Nepal, Oli stated that there were failed attempts to bring malpractices into the judiciary and security organs during the year.
Oli, who looks set to become the next prime minister, has also promised that the soon-to-be formed government will start the mega campaign of development and prosperity in the country.
