A meeting of the high-level central work execution committee of the Unified Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Nationalist) Wednesday has decided to run an organization consolidation campaign in all the seven provinces from January 15 to March 14, 2018.
The meeting held at the party's central office at Dhumrabarahi and chaired by party chairman Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani also decided to establish the party's student, youth and women associations as the people's class organizations at all the local levels and province level in the three-month period, party central member Sundar Pandey said.
The meeting, likewise, decided to give instructions to the party's local level units to disseminate the party ideology throughout the country.
It also came to the conclusion that the party had to face defeat in the elections as the party lacked strong and reliable organization at every local level wards in the country.
The meeting passed with necessary revisions the political proposal presented by the party chairman. It concluded that the party's new class organizations that will be formed should be used for operating political activities by keeping the public service at the center.
Although the party had fielded around 400 candidates for the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections across the country, it could not win even a single seat. However, it received 0.35 percent votes in the proportional representation elections to the House of Representatives.
