Man arrested with 38 kg marijuana

Police here have arrested a man while he was trying to smuggle marijuana from the district. Twenty-seven-year-old Hridaya Nanda Prasad Mahato of Kalyanpur rural municipality-4, Parsa district was caught in course of police checking at Gajuri Bazaar, Gajuri rural municipality-1 while he was taking the contraband toward Birgunj. Mahato had hidden the marijuana packed in 22 packets inside the cabin of the truck he was driving, police said.
